Namibia Self-drive Safaris, Fly-in Safaris, Guided Tours and Best Time to Travel.

Our Namibia safaris are proposals and therefore can be tailor-made to suit your specific needs. We offer only lodges where you are assured of Eco-friendly quality, comfort and hospitality.

  • Routes of all Namibia Safaris can be amended according to your preference.
  • Accommodation can be changed to suit your style and budget.
  • Accommodation and meals can be booked according to your requirements.
  • The Fish River Canyon and other areas  can be added.
  • Accommodation in Windhoek can be added, depending on your arrival and departure flight times, and according to the pace you want to travel.
  • Self-driving in Namibia is safe. Sometimes the distances are long. We therefore also offer a driver for most self-drive routes.
  • Our 4×4 vehicles are equipped with strong off-road tires. Regular car tires are often punctured by the many pointed stones and Camel Thorn Tree branches on the gravel roads.
  • Please note, if one drives over a Camel Thorn branch with front and rear tires with only one spare wheel, the holidays can be over. Last minute accommodation is usually not available.

Best Time to Travel

Dry season is from May to October (Winter). There is very little rainfall during the entire winter and humidity is low. Wildlife will gather around waterholes and rivers when other water sources dry up. July and August is the peak season in Namibia.

The wet season from November to April (Summer) brings grassland and flowers back to life. There may be torrential downpours in the afternoon, but not every day. Mornings are usually clear.
