Guided Small Group Safari & Beach Special 12 days in South Africa (max. 6 persons).

Itinerary Safari & Beach

This itinerary is a proposal and can be adapted to the groups interests, a more detailed Itinerary is available on request.

Day 1: Arrival Johannesburg

Pick up at a hotel in Johannesburg and drive to the 4 star Lone Creek Lodge, approximately 3 hours drive

Day 2: Panorama Tour Blyde River Canyon, highlights: 3 Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, God’s Window.
Entering the Kruger National Park in the afternoon to have lunch at your 5* bush-lodge. Afternoon Game drive with open safari vehicle with tracker and game ranger. (sundowner, dinner, 5* accommodation)

Day 3: Kapama Nature Reserve Kruger National Park: Two Game Drives daily in open safari vehicle with tracker and game ranger. (5* accommodation, sundowner, all meals)

 

Day 4: Kapama Nature Reserve Kruger National Park Two Game Drives daily with open safari vehicle with tracker and game ranger. Bush walks are also included. (5* accommodation, sundowner, all meals)

Day 5: You enjoy an early morning Game Drive and breakfast, then we drive further through Kruger National Park to the Crocodile Bridge Gate. Overnight at 4* lodge in private chalets. (B&B)

Day 6: Drive to 4* Mantenga Lodge (or similar) in the Kingdom of Swaziland, visiting a traditional cultural village. Sightseeing. (B&B)

Day 7: Drive to the Hluhlulwe Umfolozi Park. Zululand Rhino Reserve Elephant Interaction (optional). Game drives in Umfolozi Park wildlife viewing (4* lodge, B&B)

Day 8: Early morning Game Drive. Driving to St. Lucia Wetlands Park, 4* guest house in St. Lucia. Board walk along the Hippo Pools (B & B)

Day 9: St. Lucia Wetlands Park, educational Hippo boat trip in the lagoon, swimming at the Cape Vidal beach. Late afternoon drive to 3+* Lagoon Beach Lodge 2 hours (Chalets, dinner)

Day 10 – 11: Dolphin Coast 

Drive to 3+* Lagoon Beach Lodge (Chalets, breakfast, dinner)

Separated from the sea by an impressive sandbank are 7 km of flat water, ideal for boating. Being calm and shallow the lagoon also offers a safe alternative for children. It is a natural ecosystem, unpolluted and without any health hazards.

Enjoy also the delicious CUISINE. The lodge specialises in fresh fish dishes and spicy local curries. Special theme evenings are organised in the tropical Boma, surrounded by palms, whilst sundowners are enjoyed at the elevated Pub & Sun deck, overlooking a wetland and the lagoon.

Bird watching, sun bathing, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean. 

Day 12: Transfer to Durban to catch a flight to Johannesburg. Our Small Group Safari & Beach Special ends here.
