Kruger Park & Beach Tour starts and ends in Johannesburg. This extraordinary self drive safari combines guided Game Drives in a private concession inside Kruger Park, traditional cultural African village life and beach holidays (snorkelling, diving, swimming with dolphins. Accommodation in luxury bush camp, beach house and 3* lodge; as well as self catering and superior full board accommodation.

Included: Accommodation, breakfast, full board and game drives with rangers in the Kruger Park, flight from Durban to Cape Town (details in the itinerary), Car 4×4 Toyota HiLux or similar vehicle (4×4 is needed), unlimited mileage, full insurance, border pass. 24h emergency number. Detailed Itinerary
Kruger Park Beach Self-drive Tour Beach Diving & Dolphins
Kruger Park Beach Self-drive Tour: Kruger Park, Swaziland & Dolphins in Mozambique.
Day 1 – 3 Kruger Park Arrival at Johannesburg Int. Airport, drive to the Kruger Park bush camp in the Timbavati concession. Inluded all meals, local drinks, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Two game drives daily, conducted by professional ranger and open 4×4 safari vehicle.
Day 4 – Kruger Park
Early morning game drive and breakfast, then self-driving though the park to Crocodile Bridge Gate. o/n Bucklers BB
Day 5 Drive to Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique
240km, ca. 5 hours
Cross border fee ca. R 500 (€40)
Day 6 to 9 Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique
3* beach cottage, air-condition, kitchen, self-catering
Optional activities swimming with dolphins, scuba-diving (rates on request), snorkeling or just doing sun-bathing.
Day 10 Drive to St. Lucia, iSomangaliso Wetlands Park
4* B&B, air-condition, pool
Boat trips, watching hippos, hiking or just doing nothing.
The hippos are grazing at night in St. Lucia’s front yards. Thus making St. Lucia it the safest town in South Africa.
Day 11 Drive to Johannesburg
Our Kruger Park Beach Self-drive Tour ends in Joburg.
Travel Advice
EU citizens can obtain a visa for Mozambique at the border. However, it is strongly recommended to apply for the visa at your local consulate two months in advance.
Malaria prophylaxis is also strongly recommended.
