Self drive Safari South Africa Southern Circle
Itinerary day by day:
Day 1: Arrival Johannesburg
Pick up your rental car at the Johannesburg airport and drive to the 4 star Lodge in the Kruger National Park, 400 km (B & B) approximately 4.5 hours drive
Day 2: Kruger National Park
Enter the Kruger National Park in the South at the Malelane Gate and exit to at the Crocodile Bridge, (BB) game drives, lunch in one of the public camps.
Day 3: Kruger National Park
Entrance to the Kruger National Park on the Malelane Gate, drive to Hazyview for your 3 stars lodge game drives, lunch in one of the public Camps, Graskop Hotel (BB).
Day 4: Blyde River Canyon
Drive the Panorama Tour along the Blyde River Canyon.
Highlights: Three Rondavels, Pilgrim’s Rest, God’s Window. Overnight at Blyde Wilderness Lodge (BB).
Day 5 & 6 : Swaziland
Drive to the Kingdom of Swaziland, 3 Star Lodge, 180 km, (BB).
Activities: Cultural Village, Battlefield Tour, hiking, wildlife watching.
Day 7 & 8: Drakensberg Mountains
Drive 300 km to 4* Montusi Mountain Lodge or similar(BB).
Activities: Hiking, horseback riding, trout fishing, wildlife viewing
Day 11 & 12: Wild Coast
Wailana Beach
Drive ca. 370 km to the South Coast, 4* Wailana Beach Lodge (BB).
Hightlights: swimming, diving, snorkelling, kayaking
Day 13: East London
Drive 560 km to East London for 3 star guest house German Bay Lodge, (BB)
Day 14 & 15: Addo 
Drive to the Addo Elephant Park, accommodation in 4* Cottage on active citrus farm (BB)
Day 16 Tsitsikamma
Enjoy the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve
Activities: Zipline Treetop Tour, suitable for all ages, booking required.
Overnight in Storms River Village (3* Country Lodge BB).
Day 17: Knysna
Drive to Knysna 4* Guest House (BB).
Activities: Fresh Oyster plate, forest walks, Tsitsikamma Forest, Worlds highest Bungee Jump
Day 18: Drive to Swellendam via Oudtshoorn(460 km), visit the Cango Caves or the Wildlife Ranch or even ride an ostrich. Overnight at 3* Country Lodge, (BB).
Day 19 & 20: Cape Town
Drive to Camps Bay (120 km)
4* BB, car return the rental at the airport.
Activities: Cape Town city tour, Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, Winelands tour.
Entire tour: about 3200 km
