Luxury Namibia Self Drive Safari Day 1:
Your luxury Namibia Self Drive Safari starts upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) airport. Depending on your arrival time, you will be driven to your 4×4 vehicle for a brief introduction or to your accommodation in Windhoek.
Maltahöhe & Namib Rand Nature Reserve
The drive to Maltahöhe will take 4 hours.
At We Kebi you might be greeted by the two zebras, who prefer to live at the lodge. You might also like get in touch with the local cheetah.

The 200 000 hectares Namib Rand is one of the biggest private nature reserves in Southern Africa. It’s a vast wilderness on the edge of the Namib Desert, with epic landscapes of massive apricot dunes and grassy plains peppered with mysterious fairy circles.
Day 2: Sossusvlei and Sesriem
The individual luxurious accommodation units at Sossusvlei Lodge are uniquely designed to blend in with the natural surrounding environment. Each unit features: Air-condition, En-suite bathroom (shower), Electronic safe Coffee- & Tea making facility. Overnight at Sossusvlei Lodge (DBB).
Early morning you may visit Sossusvlei, (a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world), which is surrounded by the possibly highest dunes in the world and is filled only with water in years when exceptionally good rainfall is received. We visit the Sesriem Canyon. It is said that the canyon got its name during the time of the ox wagon, when a person had to use six harness straps to haul water from the bottom of the canyon.
Overnight at Sossusvlei Lodge, Dinner Bed & Breakfast basis.
Day 3: Walvis Bay and Swakopmund
Drive to the old colonial town of Swakopmund. The route takes you first to Walvis Bay and further to Swakopmund.
Excerpt from Wikipedia: Swakopmund is a beach resort and an example of German colonial architecture. It was founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South-West Africa, and a small part of its population is still German-speaking today.
Buildings in the city include the Altes Gefängnis prison, designed by Heinrich Bause in 1909. The Woermannhaus, built in 1906 with a prominent tower, is now a public library. Attractions in Swakopmund include a Swakopmund Museum, the National Marine Aquarium, a crystal gallery and spectacular sand dunes near Langstrand south of the Swakop River. Outside of the city, the Rossmund Desert Golf Course is one of only five all-grass desert golf courses in the world. Nearby is the Martin Luther steam locomotive, dating from 1896 and abandoned in the desert.

Day 4: Walvis Bay and Swakopmund
Top up your Luxury Namibia Self Drive Safari with a dolphin cruise on the Walvis Bay Lagoon (optional).
Overnight stay at Beach Lodge, luxury room on bed & breakfast basis.
Day 5 & & Brandberg and Damaraland
We suggest an early morning departure from Swakopmund along the Atlantic Coast towards the North.
Those interested may want to explore the spectacular rock formations that can be viewed at the Organ Pipes, Burnt Mountains, Doros Crater and Petrified Forest.
Overnight at the Twyfelfontein Lodge or Vingerklip Lodge on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 7: Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha National Park
Leaving Damaraland you will travel on the tarred road to the Ongava Private Game Reserve. On your route you may visit the the Himba people. Arrive at the Ongava Anderson Camp, only a few kilometers from Etosha National Park. At the heart of this National Park is the Etosha Pan, a vast dry shallow depression. Perennial springs feed the waterholes along the southern verge, which attract a myriad of animal species. Game drives in the Ongava Game Reserve or in Etosha NP.
Overnight stay in luxury tented chalet in Ongava Andersons Camp (Dinner Bed & Breakfast, coffee, soft drinks).
Day 8: Ongava Game Reserve and Etosha National Park
Game drives in the Ongava Game Reserve or in Etosha NP.
Overnight stay in luxury tented chalet in the Ongava Anderson Camp (Dinner Bed & Breakfast, coffee, soft drinks).
Day 9: Etosha National Park and Mushara Bush Lodge
Drive into Etosha NP and towards the Eastern gate of Etosha NP and further to Mushara Bush Lodge, right outside of the park (8km).
Overnight at Mushara Bush Lodge on Dinner Bed & Breakfast basis.
Day 10 & 11: Waterberg Plateau
You may either do an early morning Game Drive in Etosha NP or drive on to your next destination in the Waterberg region.
The mountain area, namely the breath-taking and unique Waterberg Plateau invites you to adventurous excursions by car or on foot.
The roads along the edge of the escarpment offer superb views of high, rocky peaks of red sandstone eroded into fantastic shapes and laced with the clinging vines of climbing figs.
On the game drives you will see Leopard, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Water Buffalo, Roan Antelope, Sable, Waterbuck, Nyala, Red Letchwe, Giraffe, Zebra and even Hippo, among many others.
Overnight at the Wabi Lodge Bungalow or Waterberg Plateau Lodge (Dinner Bed & Breakfast).
Day 12 & 13: Erindi Private Game Reserve.
Drive about 2.5 hours to private Erindi Game Reserve. The 71.000 ha private game reserve is home to over 10.000 animals.

You will see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffe, all kind of antelopes, hippo, cheetah, croc, buffalo and may be even Wild Dogs.
You may drive with your 4×4 vehicle in the game reserve at no extra cost or book a professional game drive (not included).
Overnight in a luxury suite in the Old Traders Lodge (Dinner Bed & Breakfast, coffee, soft drinks).
Day 14: Drive to Windhoek
Return journey via Okahandja to Windhoek. Okahandja is an important centre for woodcarvers from the north. They practice their ancient skills at the Woodcarvers Market next to the main road. This is a good place to pick a last souvenir. Your luxury Namibia self drive safari ends in Windhoek. We can either transfer you to the airport or arrange a accommodation for an early morning departure flight.
