Enjoy a Garden Route Game Lodge Safari, an Animal Encounter and a Whale Watching Cruise (in season) in one spectacular tour.
Our 2 day Garden Route Safari allows Cape Town visitors to experience the Big Five in their natural environment in a private game reserve on the Garden Route. On the way there we visit an animal shelter with zebras, cheetahs and other animals you can touch. If you wish, we can do a wine tasting in the Creation winery (award-winning cuisine) and from July 1st to November 28th we also offer you whale watching in Hermanus on the outward journey. On the second day we drive to the Garden Route Game Lodge for a day safari in an open 4×4 vehicle. Duration approx. 3 hours. If desired, lunch buffet at the Garden Rout Game Lodge. We are back in Cape Town at around 5:30 p.m.
Optional 2.5 hours whale watching boat cruise in Hermanus from July 1st to November 30th.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cape Town at 8:30 for your Garden Route Safari.
Day 1
On the first day we drive from Cape Town along the scenic False Bay to the Cornellskop animal sanctuary where you can touch zebras, cheetahs and other animals.
On request we stop at Creation Wines (Awarded Best SA Kitchen) or we can offer a whale watching cruise in Hermanus, from 1. July to 30. Nov only.
We stay overnight in Swellendam (Breakfast buffet incl.)
Day 2
On the second day we set off again at 8:30 a.m. to the Garden Route Game Lodge for a day safari in an open off-road vehicle. Duration approx. 2.5 – 3 hours.
In addition to the Big Five, you will see wildebeest, zebras, antelopes and, with a bit of luck, cheetahs on the prowl.
Afterwards, if you wish, you can enjoy a lunch buffet at the lodge or return directly
Drive to Cape Town (approx. 4 hours).
On the way back you can also get an impression and view of a huge squatter camp with over two million residents.
Your Cape Town Garden Route Safari ends at your hotel in Cape Town at approximately 5:30 p.m.
We recommend packing a windproof, warm jacket for game drives in winter (July – August).
Children sharing their parents’ room receive a 50% discount.
