Enjoy a Garden Route Game Lodge Safari, and a Whale Watching Cruise (in season) in one spectacular tour.
Our 2 day Garden Route Safari allows Cape Town visitors to experience the Big Five in their natural environment in a private game reserve on the Garden Route. If you wish, we can do a wine tasting in the Creation winery (award-winning cuisine) and from July 1st to November 28th we also offer you whale watching in Hermanus on the outward journey. On the second day we drive to the Garden Route Game Lodge for a day safari in an open 4×4 vehicle. Duration approx. 3 hours. If desired, lunch buffet at the Garden Rout Game Lodge. We are back in Cape Town at around 5:30 p.m.
Optional 2.5 hours whale watching boat cruise in Hermanus from July 1st to November 30th.
Bookings from December 20th to January 10th only upon request.

Day 1
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cape Town at 9:00 for your 2 day Garden Route Safari.
We set off to the Garden Route Game Lodge for your Big Five safari in an open off-road vehicle. The drive will take about 3.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions..
Upon arrival you may enjoy a welcome drink and check in to your chalet.
In addition to the Big Five, you will see wildebeest, zebras, several antelopes and, with a bit of luck, cheetahs on the prowl.
Day 2
You will start early for another game drive and afterwards you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the lodge or return directly Cape Town (approx. 4 hours).
On request we can stop at one of the best vineyards along the Garden Route.
Your Cape Town Garden Route Safari ends at your hotel in Cape Town between 4 and 5:30 p.m.
In season (July . November) we can also include a Whale Watching trip in Hermanus.
We recommend packing a windproof, warm jacket for game drives.
Children sharing their parents’ room receive a 50% discount.
