Anti-poaching initiative Save The Rhinos!
Save The Rhinos The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) of South Africa has developed a project to strengthen the security of rhino in South Africa. 448 rhino were killed in 2011 in South Africa alone. Despite the efforts of so many, if the predictions are true, should poaching continue to escalate, the wild rhino could become extinct in less than a decade. |
Latest Rhino Poaching Figures: The poaching of rhinos for their horns has reached unprecedented levels. While ten years ago, a mere 25 rhinos were poached, the number poached in 2011 reached an unbelievable 448, and from January until March 2013 the number of rhinos poached is a STAGGERING 150. Save The Rhinos is a Sting Music and Endangered Wildlife Trust initiative. |
