This “One Way” self-drive and fly in safari combines the best of Namibia with the highlights of Botswana, all topped with the mighty Victoria Falls: Namib desert, Waterberg Plateau NP, the Etosha National Park, Caprivi, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, the amazing Moremi and the Okavango Delta. The safari starts in Windhoek and ends in Maun. Included is a 4×4 vehicle and return fee. 17 nights in 3*/4* guest houses and bush camps.

The Namibia Victoria Falls Okavango Safari route is a proposal and can be adapted to your particular interests. The route is optimized for enjoyable driving times and for the less experienced safari traveller. It therefore avoids self driving in Savuti and Moremi.

Namibia Victoria Falls Okavango Safari Day 1: Windhoek
Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) airport, you will be transferred to pick up your vehicle. Depending on your arrival time you will either drive to the capital of Namibia for check-in to your guest house or you will go straight on your safari.
Overnight stay at Namib Naukluft Lodge, pool, restaurant, bar, dinner, bed & breakfast (DBB).
Day 2: Namib Naukluft Sossusvlei
Early morning visit to Sossusvlei, (a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world), which is surrounded by the possibly highest dunes in the world and is filled only with water in years when exceptionally good rainfall is received. O/n Sossusvlei Lodge, (DBB).
Day 3 & 4 Walvis Bay and Swakopmund
The route takes you East to Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
Swakopmund offers many activities, like sand boarding or an oyster cruise in Walvis Bay. We can book it for you.
We recommend a Walvis Bay Catamaran tour incl. champagne and oysters for US$ 50 pp.
Overnight stay at Desert Breeze, Atlantic Villa or similar (BB).
Day 5 Damaraland
Drive North along the coast and inwards to the Damaraland. See the Petrified Forest, as the name says, a garden of scattered petrified tree trunks up to 34m long, which are more or less older than 260 million years. This open area of veld lies 40km west of Khorixas. The trees got their origin from the ancient gymnosperm-ae better known as the cone – bearing plants.
Day 6 Etosha National Park
Drive to Etosha NP. Stay overnight at Etosha Bush Camp or Etosha Safari Lodge, about 8 km from the Anderson Gate.
Day 7 Etosha National Park
Mushara Bush Camp
Mushara Bush Camp is located within 10 km of the Von Lindequist Gate of Etosha National Park. Each of the 16 custom made en-suite tents is built from canvas, wood and local limestone. With an 8 m2 private veranda and windows from floor to ceiling, these tents are spacious and airy. The large bathroom has a big window and the shower offers views into the surrounding bush. The brushed cement floors and stone walls keep the tents cool even in the afternoon sun.
A coffee station, safe deposit box, mosquito net, socket for charging storage batteries, hair drier and floor fan are standard. Whether you enjoy the privacy of your veranda or the comfort of your tent, the tranquility of the bush is guaranteed.
Wi-Fi is available in the common area/main lodge area.
The restaurant and chalets are situated on a hillock, offering a magnificent view of the savannah below, DBB.
Day 8 & 9 Bushmen Land
The Bush Camp and San Village is an ideal stop over for travelers en-route to the Caprivi as well as Chobe and Victoria Falls. The Lodge’s ideal location also provides easy access to Bushman land. The lodge is situated on a 1400 hectare private game farm with more that 10 different big game species and smaller mammal species.
The Camp organizes excursions with the San Bushmen and offers a glimpse into the lives of this ancient civilization. Visitors can expect the most informal, liberating learning experience about these people, their history, lifestyle and culture and can to look forward to: Bush walk, village life, making of tools, jewellery and weapons. They will also be taught how to start a fire, how and what to use as medicines and the different roles of men and women in the community.

Day 10: West Caprivi
Okavango Popa Falls
Game Drives in Mahangu Park, with over 450 species of birds recorded. A wide variety of wildlife species, including elephant, hippo, buffalo, crocodile, red Lechwe, reedbuck, roan and sable antelope, and even the elusive Sitatunga antelope can be observed.
Overnight in Rundu, Tambuti Lodge, BB.
Day 11: East Caprivi Zambezi River
Visit the local African village or do a kayak tour.
Cool, comfortable, ensuite, river-facing safari tents.
Pool, overnight at Caprivi Mutoya Lodge, BB.
Day 12 & 14 Chobe Game Reserve
Activities included: 1x professional game drive in open Land Rover with game rangers, 1x Sunset Boat Cruise on the Chobe River. Day trip to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe or to Livingstone (to swim in the Devils Pool, on request, in season). Chobe Bush Camp offers a water hole! Return of the rental car in Kasane.

The Chobe Safari Lodge restaurant, right at the Chobe River, offers African and international cuisine.

Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The camp is run on solar power.
Walk in tents are furnished with either two x twin beds or a double bed, chair, bed side tables, water pourer, glasses, safari chairs on patio, steel clothes and hanging space, large open mosquito gaze windows, and front door. Towels and bathroom guest amenities are provided.

Transfer from Sango Safari Camp to Maun. Your Namibia Victoria Falls Okavango Safari ends in Maun airport.
