The Temple Point Resort is situated 120km north of Mombasa with a 1.5h our shuttle service to the airport. One day or two day safari option (park fees included ).

The Temple Point Resort is approx. 120km north of Mombasa with a beautiful view of the Mida Creek lagoon. In only 1.5h our shuttle service will take you from the Moi International Airport in Mombasa directly to the hotel.

You will get a bicycle from the hotel to go to Watamu on your own or accompanied by a member of the animations team. A visit of the Italian pizzeria is recommended.
Only a 20 minute drive away, you can also visit the culturally appealing Swahili town of Malindi twice a week with the hotel shuttle service.

Spacious, luxurious and furnished in typical Swahili style. Your romantic patio invites you to enjoy the marvellous view over the tropical gardens, the Mida Creek or the Indian Ocean.
All of the 100 rooms, among them double, twin and triple rooms, are located inside one of the 20 bungalows. You can choose between comfortable Garden Rooms, the luxurious Bayview Rooms and our especially gorgeous Superior Rooms.
Each room comes equipped with a modern bathroom, air-condition, a ceiling fan, mosquito nets, safe, sat-TV as well as tea and coffee makers. In the lobby, our guests can access the internet via our free WiFi with a small fee for in-room access.
1 DAY Safari: MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST (120 KMS – Appx 2½ hours drive)

Your Kenya safari begins at dawn when we pick you up from your beach resort at about 5:00.
Depart the Kenya Coast for the inland via the Mombasa -Nairobi highway.
We shall commence game viewing drives on entry at the Tsavo East concentrating on the Aruba dam and Kanderi swamp areas of the park where higher number of game are bound to be spotted.
We transverse this great expanse of wildlife kingdom on game and scenery viewing drives.
In the afternoon we proceed to the scenic Tsavo west commencing game viewing on entry.
We shall visit the rhino Sanctuary and make more game viewing drive in search of wildlife.
Overnight at your tsavo west safari lodge/ tented camp.

2 DAY SafariTsavo East plus TSAVO WEST – MOMBASA (240 KMS – Appx 5 hours drive)

We test this old age saying by embarking on an early pre-breakfast game viewing drive.
We shall catch the African sunrise with its splendour as the drama of the wild unfolds amid the freshness and beauty of the morning.
We shall be out again game viewing as we head to the Mzima springs where we leave our vehicles and explore on foot this natural haven.
Here, we view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species.
The greenery surrounding the mzima springs is a welcome contrast to the harsh terrain that forms the bulk of Tsavo West.
Later depart the Tsavo West for the Kenya Coast.
Arrive in the late afternoon.
Drop off at the resort.

Having been one of the scene’s top insider’s tip for years, Watamu has recently risen to fame as one of the best kite spots in the entire world. While professional riders enjoy the region for its perfect winds, newcomers are more than welcome to learn the basics of this trendy and spectacular sport in the nearby kite school.
We also offer water skiing, sail boarding, canoeing and kayaking as well as any other water sports our guests could desire — there’s nothing you can’t do off the coast of our resort!
Also note our snorkelling, diving and dolphin watching options in the Watamu Marine National Park.
Catamaran Sailing
The Temple Point Resort is proud to be the only hotel on the north coast to offer the services of our own catamaran to our guests. On board of the “Gulliver” you set sail along the Kenyan coastline, accompanied by our experienced crew. Lonesome islands, paradisiacal beaches and the historic harbour of Mombasa are waiting for you!
Big Game Fishing
The waters around the Temple Point Resort enjoy an excellent repute among international big game fishers and are the ideal fishing grounds for various species of game fish like the blue and black marlin for example. There are charter boats of all different sizes with professional equipment and crew, available in the local harbour.

Sports Facilities
Guests of the Temple Point Resort have free access to our football field, our beach volleyball site as well as our floodlit tennis court. We will also gladly provide the equipment for a game of billiard, table-tennis, bicycle tours and many other sports.
In the pool area our team invites you to join in on our daily changing animations program, like aqua aerobic, water ball or slack lining.
